Two years later, Eliana returns home hoping to rebuild her relationship with her father’s family and recreate the warm, close atmosphere of her childhood, despite their evident disagreements on everything. Upon arrival, she feels a tension that erupts into a wave of radical discussions over dinner. Eliana realises that their deeply rooted convictions create an insurmountable barrier to sincere and mutual dialogue.

Through her sense of isolation, the feeling of tension, and scenes of radical discussions, the film depicts how Eliana increasingly recognises the emotional distance between them. The trip ends in further disappointment for her, as Eliana understands that her family remains only a pleasant memory from the past.
